About the Graduate School of Engineering
The Tokyo Polytechnic University Graduate
School of Engineering has established pre
and post doctorate curriculums with four programs
which aim to unlock possibilities for extremely
talented people possessing a wealth of potential
and further advance these in a large way.
At present, the number of graduate students
striving academically in these programs has
reached 90 people; this also includes working
adults and overseas students. Furthermore,
the latest equipment essential for cutting
edge research activities have been installed
based on high level teaching and research
guidance.
Through practical application of these endowed
fields of pursuit, our hope is for growth
toward high-level engineers and researchers,
combining a broad outlook and wealth of creativity.
Path to the Graduate School of Engineering
A Graduate School of Engineering masters
course path is open to people including; those
that discover new facts or themes in university
graduate research and wish to further expand
upon these; people enchanted with a passion
for research by teaching professors or graduate
students, or with research activities; people
that have once graduated from university,
then entered employment in corporations and
the like, but once again have the desire to
acquire higher level fundamental academic
abilities and; people that wish to conduct
research to their heartfs content within a
free environment. We offer a heartfelt welcome
to all students entering this Graduate School
who; think with their own heads; are possessed
by a sharp spirit of curiosity and freely
use their own hands and act independently;
possess emotional and physical strength so
as not to be defeated by adversity
